Glencairn Crystal is recognised as the UKs leading source for decorated crystal and glassware. The Glencairn Glass differs from other glasses in that it is was designed entirely for whisky. Old fashioned Tumblers and nosing copitas are the two glasses most commonly used for drinking whisky. The traditional style of whisky glass is a cut crystal old fashioned whisky tumbler. This iconic style of glass remains the most commonly associated style of whisky glass. This style of glass does not however enhance the whisky by any means. The wide straight bowl and mouth does not focus aromas and detracts from the appreciation of any flavours. The design of the Glencairn Glass on the other hand is based upon the design of the traditional nosing glasses used by whisky blenders around the world. In fact, the design of this extraordinary glass was concluded with the aid of Master Blenders from five of the largest whisky companies in Scotland.

We are ordering a run of custom engraved GlenCairn Whisky Tasting Glasses engraved with either the Head-Case logo, or the text representation of the same (depending on what is possible from the engravers).  Either way, the cost will be $16 per glass, with shipping to be determined when they arrive.  I’ll need payment in advance, and lead time is 8-10 weeks to me, plus however long it takes to ship.  Current plan is for 72 glasses.

Note:  Above representations of the glasses are cheesey quickly thrown together samples, and not photographs of the actual glasses.  Additionally, please be aware there will be a considerable lag between payment and shipment, as I am ordering them in advance, and then having them engraved.  Because they’re a custom order, they have to be paid for prior to the order being sent to the engraver.
